This weekend, the women of CrossFit Mendip did what they do best—show up, throw down, and represent with serious strength.
At The Goat Shed Competition, three of our toughest athletes took the floor and absolutely smashed it. From grit and teamwork to sheer determination, they delivered from the first rep to the last. Whether it was heavy lifts, fast transitions, or team tactics, they made it look effortless (even when it definitely wasn’t).
Meanwhile, over in London, a whole crew of Mendip women were taking on the HYROX stage. For some, it was their first ever event. But you wouldn’t have known it. They moved like pros—pushing through lung-burning runs, relentless sleds, and every workout station in between.
It wasn’t just about finishing. It was about heart. It was about showing up with your crew, trusting your training, and giving it everything. And they did just that.
Why It Matters
These events weren’t just big weekends out—they’re a reflection of what happens inside the gym every week. The early mornings. The post-work grinds. The moments you don’t think you’ve got more to give—and then somehow, you do.
This is what we train for. Not just comps, but confidence. Community. The reminder that you’re stronger than you think.
And if you’re reading this wondering if you could ever do something like that—here’s your answer: yes.
You don’t need to be fit to start. You just need to start.
Our CrossFit Classes are fully coached, scalable for all levels, and designed to build strength, fitness, and confidence—no matter where you’re starting from.
Looking for something with a competitive edge? Our HYROX Classes will get you race-ready with targeted training for endurance, power, and functional fitness.
And if you’re just trying to figure out where you’d fit in, check out our full Class Schedule and come meet the team.
One Team. Many Stories.
What makes this weekend so special isn’t just the podiums or the finish lines—it’s the way our women lift each other up. Literally and figuratively.
Whether it’s first timers stepping into a comp, or regulars chasing a PB, the spirit is the same: strong, brave, and together.
To every woman who showed up this weekend—you did that. You inspired more than you know.
And to the ones watching, thinking “maybe one day”—we’ll see you on the start line.
